Are the action sets compatible for Mac OS?
Yes. the action sets work on Mac as well as Windows 32/64bit
Can I use the actions in Adobe Lightroom or Elements?
No. For the moment they can only be used in Adobe Photoshop
On which version of Adobe Photoshop will these actions work?
No issues were reported on versions Photoshop CS5, CS6 and CC
How do I purchase Photokemi StarTools actions?
Use the "product page" to place your order. Choose the set you wish to buy.
Complete and confirm the checkout.
Once done you will be provided with a download link as well as an email with an extra download in case you loose the file.
I have lost the file and exceeded the download attempts, do I have to place a new order to purchase the set?
No. If you have lost the file(s) for whatever reason just drop me a note and I will send it in a private mail to you.
Can I use the set on different computers?
Yes. As long as it is within the same household.
Otherwise you will have to place a new order to receive a new licence key.
Will these product be updated in the future?
As I myself am actively busy with astrophotography, future updates will likely happen, this included tweaks as well as new actions.

Do I have to pay for new versions?
No. Once purchased a product, any future updates to that particular product are free.
I did not receive an email with the updated version?
Make sure to check your spam/junk files folder. It's been reported that with certain email providers the mail has been filtered out as spam.
You can than add them to your 'contact list' for future updates.
If you did not find the email, drop me a note please.
I have send you a link with my images I want to be processed but haven't received any news?
Depending on the type of image it can take from 2 days up to a week for you to receive the final images.
If you haven't heard from me within a week, please contact me.
I got an error message 'not available' when playing a certain action, what can I do?
Certain actions won't work on 32-bit documents as it uses Photoshop functions which can be unavailable in this mode. If this is the case drop me a note and I will send a 32-bit compatible pack to you personally.
Multiple documents can create interference. Processing one document at a time will solve this issue.
Make sure the correct layer is selected before playing an action.
Previous versions can interfere with each other, make sure you only have the most recent version installed.
If you still have other issues, please contact me and we will try to find a solution.
I have just received my updated set, how do I delete the previous one?
In the action palette click the drop-down menu in the top right corner - choose 'delete'.
By deleting it this way it will only be removed from the action palette but will still be available from its file folder.
What is the difference between the normal and 32-bit pack?
Both packs contain the same actions with the only difference being 32-bit compatible.
Make sure you only use the 32-bit action pack for 32-bit documents!
The normal pack is used for 8 and 16-bit documents.
Do I need the 32-bit pack?
If you never save or convert your images to 32-bit tiff files, you will most likely not use them. So there is no need to get both packs installed.
However, if you have purchased the normal pack and in the future find that need the 32-bit pack, drop me a note and I will send it to you personally.
